Backyard camera to creative lead.
Forget the fancy titles for a second. Before I’m a creative, I’m a husband to Abi and a dad to three kids. They’re my biggest cheerleaders and the reason I want to make things a bit brighter, more fun and maybe a touch more organised.
I grew up on the Gold Coast and found storytelling by mucking around with a camera in the backyard. That turned into a career that mixes creative work with a slightly surprising love of getting things done properly.
These days I’m Production Coordinator at GrapeFruit Creative, running productions from first call to final delivery. Before that I spent four years at KYU Media, finishing as Creative Manager. I shoot, direct, edit and animate, and I spend just as much time on the systems behind the work: the quotes, timelines, shot lists and pipelines that stop good ideas from getting stuck.
We live in the Hunter now, and I work with brands, agencies and creatives across AUS. If you’ve got a project that needs a plan as much as it needs a camera, that’s my favourite kind of brief.
